Rocky, Spike and Suzie Q

That day, it was just like any other
The day, it dawned for 'Rock and his brother
Across the town, the morning dew
It fell to earth for Suzie Q

For 'Rock, it all would do no good
But Spike had promise, what little he could
The smiling Suzie greeted the day
With any and all amounts of praise

That day, therecame a teacher to town
Spreading goodness, cheer, and relieving the frowns
Our Rocky was busy, no time had he
And Spike, he gave Him a minute and three

Suzie not only welcomed the day
But helped this great teacher to make his Way
The Word and the stories were easy to see
The people and Suzie, all shouted with glee

But out on the edge of the crowd was Spike
His face in his Facebook, his friends he "Liked"
This brother of his, the one they called 'Rock
Well, he was drinking under the dock

The teacher, you see, passed by all three
The message the same for you and me
The seed of His faith was very contagious
The call that he left was frankly outrageous

For Rocky and Spike, it will all take time
This seed of faith gives sight to the blind
For Suzie, the task is now very clear
She continues the Way without any fear

The teacher has left, but the message remains
The Truth has been kept, while others refrain
The seed of this faith will forever be ready
To move folks like Spike, and make Rock steady
