Covenant

“And today the LORD has accepted your agreement: you will be a people specially his own, as he promised you, you will keep all his commandments…” (Deuteronomy 26:18)

We are a covenant people…

We are a people who make (and break) agreements,

And a people who need promises to have and to hold.

We need the rule of law…

We need the consistency of a path to follow,

And a journey that offers signposts and limits.

We celebrate the God who loves us…

We celebrate the relationship that reassures us,

And the opportunity to be a Covenant People!
