As is the custom of the GregBlog, I seem to ebb and flow through time, sharing my every thought and movement of the Spirit during the peak of seasons, then reaching points where I just don't have the energy to write another word... Well, the grass is greening and the trees have budded, and this morning I feel like writing... Well sort of. This passage came up in my Morning Prayer, and it begs me to share the Good News:
The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach). For if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Faith in the heart leads to justification, confession on the lips to salvation. Romans 10:8-10
This passage was a focal point during my presentations up in Calgary two weeks ago, and it has always been with me wherever I attempt to share the love of God. Confess with your lips, and believe in your heart!!
It's another resurrection of sorts, the GregBlog is stretching after a little nap, and I am writing today with no promises, or expectations for tomorrow. But always be sure that whether I write words, or serve at the parish, or rock out with an amazing group of kids like the ones at Notre Dame Collegiate HS in Calgary, or DJ a Prom like this past weekend for John Paul II HS here in my hometown, or sit here on my duff, I am confessing that He is risen, alleluia, alleluia!
Amen!
