Eight Days a Week

"Eight days a week, I love you!  Eight days a week, is not enough to show I care!"
- John, Paul, George and Ringo

I'll be traveling northward to the Dioceses of Prince Albert and Saskatoon, Canada in eight days!

Yesterday, someone asked me at church, "Why are you going to Canada?"  My answer was indicative of my very self: Short and sweet.  :) I simply said that, "I'm going there to change the world!"

To be a disciple means that I am called to bring all that "I Am" (and I mean that in God terms) to all the nations.  I've also been adding the phrase, "and to all networks" as well.  Whether its over borders, or across FB pages or blogspots, my goal must be to bring change!  The God who has changed my life, and the Savior who has truly changed the world, has given us the power of the Spirit to bring about even more change.  So, eight days from now I will be traveling northward seeking to change you, two dioceses, and an entire nation.  Here are eight things I intend to do:

  • I intend to let "The Voice" speak through me!
  • I intend to love every minute of it, and everyone I meet!
  • I intend to pray for conversion!
  • I intend to share Good News!
  • I intend to be real, so bare with me!
  • I intend to offer a challenge, so get ready!
  • I intend to communicate a call, so listen!
  • I intend to leave you with a simple question: "So what's next?"
My excitement comes off as a little cocky, and my plans are firm, which only means that God has even more (and probably different) plans that will continue to evolve over the next eight days, and the weeks, months and years to follow.  For you see, somewhere along the line, I remember hearing about "God's promise".  It's a promise of peace, and hope and fun, and everlasting life!  I'm so ready to dive in and celebrate that promise with an entire world, and a few networks on the way!
