This GregBlog Series offers a glimpse into my preparation for my trip to Canada, where I'll be serving the Dioceses of Prince Albert and Saskatoon. Coming from Alabama, I'll be bringing more than a banjo on my knee! Here are some latest thoughts and directions for The GregCast Live in Canada, coming October 10-13, 2012. Feedback and input is welcomed... Part of the value in opening up this process is to also open up to the Will of the Holy Spirit, that voice within us all! PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS, AND IDEAS! Meanwhile, here are mine:
A Quick Reflection on the New Evangelization. Young people are interested in the Faith, but are adults prepared to support that desire to serve? There are too many things to compete with in the lives of young people! There seems to be evidence that parents and adults have lost there desire, to do what's necessary, to bring them to class, or serve them at the youth group, or even get them to Church. The big need in the Church is adult education to help overcome these challenges. The reality of minimalistic expectations, and the busy lifestyle we all lead, calls upon the Church to look at her members and say "Let's get 'er done", and fix this problem!

More Thoughts on the Topic of Morality: Challenge youth to master the fine art of balancing their "online" life with some good old fashioned decision-making skills. The GregCast ministry theme of "Making Disciples of all Networks" was created for my work with the teachers of Notre Dame Collegiate H.S. in Calgary last February, under the working title "Teaching Your Screenagers".
