Good Friday: It's Three O'Clock Somewhere

Today's Readings

Because of his affliction he shall see the light in fullness of days; through his suffering, my servant shall justify many, and their guilt he shall bear. Isaiah 53:11

Three O'clock marks the traditional time of the crucifixion of Christ, yet we do not mark the event of His death like an anniversary, for we know that suffering still continues in the lives of the poor, and lonely, and burdened. As long as there is sin and misery in our midst, Jesus continues to carry the heavy weight of it all for YOU, me and all of creation!  "By his wounds, we are healed!" (Is. 53:5)

So thank the Lord, because it's always the case... It's Three O'clock somewhere!
