"God had foreseen something better for us..." (Heb. 11:40)
It's the Monday after Superbowl Sunday.
It truly was a pretty good game, and while the "arm-chair QB's" are talking about each play and bad call from the refs, most of America is quietly realing over a a two minute commercial called "God Made a Farmer", a Paul Harvey tribute to the working men and women who provide us all with some inspiration to keep on doing what we do, in spite of the difficulties, or challenges.
We all tuned in to watch a football game and a glitzy halftime show, and God snuck this one in on us, because He has foreseen something better for us! Keep up the good work America!
Check out this blogpost today from a friend Rebecca and a team of writers who call their Blog "The Catholic Realist" and notice the quote:
"God has bigger plans for us than our earthly mini-battles. God has bigger plans for Ray Lewis than football champion. I’m not talking about Ray retiring and becoming a minister or founding a youth sports organization or helping out families in Baltimore. I’m talking about forever.
God’s big plan for all of us is heaven. God being for us is only completed and perfectly experienced in heaven, forever. God is for us spending that forever with him in eternal praise and total bliss. God is for us experiencing the beatific vision.
God is for us going to heaven. When we choose God, nothing can stop us from spending forever with Him." The Catholic Realist
