I'm on a much anticipated vacation, and I'm reading a book called "You Are a Writer (So Start Acting Like One)" by Jeff Goins. OK, I'm a cheapskate. Its one of Kindle's top 100 FREE eBooks, but the beginning has intrigued me!
The first chapter explores the nature that we're all writers. We just have to start writing! For the FIVE followers of the GregBlog, and any others that peep in from time to time (HELLO FB FRIENDS), you know I've been writing for a while now, but as Mr. Goins suggests, I like most, have not referred to myself as a writer, and I need to start doing so ASAP. He's right! So far, I've referred to myself as a podcaster, a Catholic parish lay-minister, a candidate for the Diaconate, and, as my t-shirt says (the one I just got for Father's Day a few weeks ago), I'm the "World's Best Dad"!
So, I've come off the beach to cool off and proclaim for the first time that I AM A WRITER!
Uh oh... now I have to write something, don't I?
