From the Back Pew...

For some, moments of prayer provides a respite from the noise, while for others, the lack of noise causes distraction and even sleep. While I sit here in the back pew during my time of prayer, I am eager to know the feeling of total solitude, and possess an ability to stay alert, so that when the Word of God crashes down around me, I will hear. Prayer demands practice, and ability comes with patience... Come Holy Spirit. Enkindle in us the fire of your love!
