I've never watched the TV show, but this morning I am thinking about The Voice.
Last week I mused on the topic of knowing God and hearing His voice, like in the call of Abram or the Lord's coming to Elijah. This morning all I can hear are birds. I can't see them, except for the occasional visitor to our feeder, but they are really making some good noise!
I can't help but wonder if God speaks to us in brief, but significant moments like "a call", or chatters constantly like the amazing sound of birds filling the trees with their wonderful morning song. Like everything else, I'm sure it's a little of both.
I dunno, I was just wondering.
